At the heart of the international trade event...

The Bordeaux-Lac exhibition centre: a giant that suits to all requirements. With 250,000 sqm of exhibition space, of which 80,000 sqm is covered and air conditioned, the exhibition centre is designed for major events like the Bordeaux International Fair. Situated in the Bordeaux Lac business district, it welcomes almost 300,000 visitors every year in May.

THE FAIR'S 4 THEMED EXHIBITION AREAS:

 

Home and Living Area : bursting with ideas for the house and garden – home improvement and DIY projects, furniture and appliances, extensions and prefabs, pools, gardens and gardening tools, plus the Environment Exhibition.

Aquitaine Agricultural Show : learn about Aquitaine's thriving agricultural community in this interactive area where you'll meet farmers, sample produce and even see live animals.

International Area : culture and traditions from all over the world.

Lifestyle and Leisure Time area : indoor and outdoor leisure pursuits, new and used cars, gift ideas and impulse buys
 

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

The Fair is OPEN EVERY DAY from 1 to 12 May, 9.30am to 7pm (earlier closing time of 6pm on the final day only).

 

A PERFECT FAMILY DAY OUT! The Fair is as popular with families as it is with trade exhibitors, offering a variety of incentives for visitors.

STANDARD TICKET : €7.50

CHILD'S TICKET (children under 6): €5.60

OVER-60s DAY: Tuesday 6 May

FAMILY TICKET (for families of 4 or more): €20

ALL-INCLUSIVE FAIR TICKET : €7.50 – this ticket includes day-long bus, tram and shuttle services to and from the exhibition area plus entrance to the Fair. For more information contact

SERVICES

MINI TRAIN: take a fun ride around the Fair for just €1.

INFORMATION AND ‘TIME OUT' LOUNGES: take a break in one of the five 300-m2 lounge areas, where you'll be able to meet other visitors and find out more about the Fair and its events. Located in Hall 1 (aisles 7, 20 and 27), and at the centre of Halls 2 and 3.

ATM MACHINES: at the meeting points located between Halls 1 and 2, and in aisle 31 of Hall 1 (exterior).

BABY AND TODDLER AREA: fully-equipped with changing and feeding facilities. Aisle 7 (lakeside).

KIDS' CORNER: for 4-9-year-olds. Enjoy the Fair with the peace of mind that your little ones are in good hands. Our childcare professionals will be organising a host of games and activities with an eco-friendly focus. The crèche is free for the first 2 hours and €5 for the 3rd (3 hour maximum). Aisle 7 (lakeside).

  • By car
    582 km from Paris (A10 motorway)
    A89 Bordeaux/Lyon
    A86 Bordeaux/Nantes

  • By air
    Bordeaux Mérignac is the 5th largest airport in France , handling 3 million passengers each year, and with flights to all the major international capitals and to France major cities. It offers 38 destinations with 200 flights per week and 20 return flights to Paris every day.
    The airport is located 30 minutes from the city centre and 15 minutes from the Bordeaux Lac Exhibition Centre.

  • By train
    The TGV Atlantique high-speed rail service connects Paris Montparnasse with Bordeaux Saint-Jean in just 3 hours.
    Bordeaux Saint-Jean rail station is one of France main rail intersections with connections to all of Europe . It is located 10 minutes from the city centre and 30 minutes from the convention and exhibition centre.

  • Local transport :
    Airport shuttle service: Airport – tourist office – Saint Jean rail station: departing every 30 minutes on weekdays between 6.05 am and 11.10 pm.

  • Local buses:
    Lines 7 and 8 run between Saint Jean rail station and the tourist office every 8 to 12 minutes.
